Common Installation Questions
Everything you need to know about security, updates, and maintenance.
Why does REWA Terminal request elevated privileges?
Elevated privileges are required to allow local shell tabs (CMD & PowerShell) to execute diagnostic and maintenance commands like sfc /scannow, DISM, and service restarts without failing.
Where are my session logs saved?
Logs are saved in plain text format inside the Sessions/ folder in the application directory. You can view them at any time using Windows Notepad or the built-in Session History dialog.
How do updates affect my saved sessions?
Installing an updated version of REWA Terminal replaces only the core application binaries. Your saved database, session profiles, notes, and logs remain 100% untouched and preserved.
